**** Important Notice: Virus Protection for Home Use ****
We no longer use McAfee virus protection for on-campus computers or home use. Campus computers will be protected by Microsoft’s Forefront providing both virus and spyware protection.
For home protection, we recommend using Microsoft’s Security Essentials (the home version of Forefront), which can be downloaded and supported from www.microsoft.com/security_essentials. This product is free but can only be used for personal use, not corporate or university use.
By using this product for your home, you will be using the same quality protection being used to protect our university computers from viruses and spyware.
Mac/Apple computers on campus will still be supported by McAfee and we suggest Mac/Apple users download and use AVG for virus protection at home.
